Following are the details of the construction of these systems:
It consists of vacuum unit, primary separator (hopper) and pressure feeding tank
There is a turbine in vacuum unit that is driven by 7. 5 hp motor
It has filter cartridges in reverse pulse jet arrangement and hopper consists of magnetic separator, tubular heaters, sensor and butterfly valve
The pressure feeder tank has strip heaters, safety box, low-level indicator, sensor and nozzle for conveying the flux
Our system is provided with recovery hose and feeding hose
Functioning:
During saw welding flux remains on the welding bed
Using FRS system the unused flux can be recovered from the welding area through recovery pipe
The recovered flux enters the hopper with certain velocity
This flux hits the baffle plate, which has been provided in the hopper
Once it hits the baffle plate the velocity of incoming flux becomes zero and starts falling down with gravity into the hopper
The flux while falling down passes through the magnetic separator and heaters
Magnetic particles are being separated during this process
There are tubular heaters in the hopper to heat the flux up to a certain temperature
One should avoid preheating of flux in oven
The flux so collected can be taken into the pressure feeding tank using butterfly valve
The flux which has been collected in the pressure feeding tank can be conveyed at required levels even at against gravity level by passing compressor air through nozzle
Vacuum unit is provided with reverse pulse jet arrangement so manual cleaning of filters is not necessary
A solenoid valve with timer is provided
Once the timer is set, certain quantity of air passes through solenoid valve which cleans the filters at regular intervals
